Terms of Service

Access Key accounts and device limits

One account may have up to five active linked devices. Devices share the account's subscription expiration; linking a device does not add subscription time. An expired subscription does not prevent account login, but VPN access requires an active entitlement. To link a sixth device, first remove an existing device in the app.

Your Access Key is a bearer credential: anyone who possesses it can access the account, its membership and device-management functions. Keep it private and save it securely before signing out. Use it only on your own devices; do not publish, resell or distribute it. Resetting it invalidates the old key and may revoke other linked devices. If all copies and logged-in devices are lost, contact support; recovery requires verification and cannot be guaranteed solely from a public user ID.

Signing out disconnects this device and removes its local account credentials. It does not cancel an Apple subscription. Device revocations reach VPN servers through periodic synchronization and are not guaranteed to terminate every connection instantly. Legacy account-wide VPN credentials may be invalidated during migration, requiring other devices to reconnect and obtain updated configuration.

These terms govern your use of DogVPN's application and VPN service. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions can be sent to support@dogvpn.io.

Eligibility and access

You must be legally able to accept these terms, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian where required. You are responsible for complying with laws applicable to your use. Keep your device and connection credentials secure and do not sell, share or misuse access credentials. Access may depend on a valid subscription and supported device.

Service and limitations

DogVPN routes supported traffic through available VPN servers. Server availability, speed and access to third-party services may vary with your network, location, device and external restrictions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a particular speed, anonymity, or access to any specific website. Split-tunneling exclusions use your ordinary internet connection. You remain responsible for securing your device and using secure websites.

Subscriptions and payments

The purchase screen and Apple's confirmation sheet identify the applicable product, price, billing period and any trial or offer. App Store purchases are billed through your Apple Account. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless canceled in accordance with the terms displayed by Apple. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app or requesting deletion of your DogVPN data does not cancel billing.

Purchase restoration is subject to Apple's records and the relevant account and product. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled through Apple, subject to its policies and applicable consumer rights. Any price or subscription changes are handled with the notice and consent required by Apple and applicable law. Paid access may end when your entitlement expires or is revoked.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, malware distribution, unauthorized access, attacks on systems, spam, exploitation of others, infringement of intellectual-property rights, or activity that damages the service or other users. Do not bypass entitlement checks or interfere with security controls. We may restrict access to address abuse, security risks, nonpayment or legal requirements.

Software and third-party services

You receive a limited right to use the app for its intended purpose, subject to applicable license terms. Open-source components retain their own licenses and rights. Third-party websites, networks and app stores are independently operated; their terms apply to their services. For App Store software licensing, Apple's applicable Standard End User License Agreement applies where no separate custom license governs the app.

Privacy and support

Our Privacy Policy explains information handling. Contact support@dogvpn.io for support or account requests. Providing your in-app user ID and a description of the issue can help; do not send passwords or private keys.

Suspension, termination and changes

You may stop using the service at any time and separately cancel any recurring subscription through Apple. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect the service or comply with law. We may modify or discontinue features and will provide notice where required. Any entitlement to refunds or remedies remains subject to applicable law and store policies.

Responsibility and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees beyond those expressly stated. We are not responsible for failures caused by third-party networks or services outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights, statutory guarantees or remedies.

Disputes and updates

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or take away any right to use courts or consumer-protection procedures available under applicable law. Updated terms will carry a revised date and material changes will be communicated where required. Contact: support@dogvpn.io.
